Greenwashing at COP-27

I spoke with Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Sydney this morning on the greenwashing that is COP-27.

What’s most fascinating is that listeners get it. They see things like Coke’s sponsorship, lack of gender diversity, and all the fancy jets as signs something doesn’t add up. Versus 10 years ago, people are paying attention and they don’t like what they’re seeing.

The question is whether all the “eco-influencers” do too. In the words of one UN official today, COP is no longer fit for purpose. “It needs to urgently repurpose or risk poisoning the well for climate action.”
